International visionary award open for entries!

The International Visionary Award, which takes place at the Alternative Hair Show each year, is now open for 2014 entries. This year’s Alternative Hair Show, which has the theme of Equilibrium, takes place on Sunday 12th October at 8pm at The Royal Albert Hall, London over Salon International weekend. This is the 33nd London Alternative Hair Show and marks an exciting 12 months during which Alternative Hair has had a highly successful show in Rome, welcomed John Frieda as global patron and has joined with HairRaising and GOSH for Race For The Kids in Battersea Park, Central London. Over the last few years, the Visionary Awards, sponsored by TIGI, have become an intrinsic part of the evening. Stylists and salons from across the globe are invited to submit a picture of their work, before a panel of top hairdressers and journalist carry out the judging. On the evening, finalists all present a model before the winner and runners-up are announced. The prize? Your own stage presentation as part of the Alternative Hair Show the following year. Interested? This year there are 2 categories in the Visionary Awards; commercial cut and colour and avante garde. All you need to do to enter is submit your work - photographs do not have to be unique to the Visionary Awards.
