Inside the Empower Your Team to Deliver Panel at the Glasgow Regional Growth Summit 2026
Taking place on the Main Stage, Empower Your Team to Deliver: Building Structure, Progression and Loyalty brings together a panel of experienced industry leaders to share practical, real world insight on what it really takes to develop teams that thrive.
Rather than focusing on theory, the session highlights what works in practice, from clearer career pathways to stronger leadership and the systems that support long term success.
A panel of industry expertise
Join Jenny Storey and the rest of the panel for an open and honest conversation about how to build teams that last. Jenny, an entrepreneur and educator who co-owns four successful businesses, will take part in the discussion, sharing her perspective on why structure, progression and communication are so important in creating loyal and motivated teams.
The other panelists will be leading voices from across the professional hair and beauty sector, each bringing valuable experience and insight.
Fiona Jackson, founder of the RISE Programme, focuses on bridging the gap between education and employment, helping to create clear structured pathways that support confidence, development and long term retention.
Also joining the discussion is Alex Thaddeus, a salon owner with more than 26 years of experience, known for her consistently high standards and international work including New York Fashion Week. Completing the panel is Wil Fleeson, a globally recognised clinical trichologist with over 35 years in the industry, bringing deep expertise in education, mentorship and professional standards.
What the session will cover
The panel will explore how salon owners can set clearer expectations, create structured progression routes and build environments where people genuinely want to stay and grow.
With recruitment and retention still major challenges across the industry, the focus will be on practical strategies that strengthen leadership, improve team culture and turn talented individuals into long term ambassadors for your business.
Session time
This session will take place on the Main Stage from 11.15 to 12.00.
Part of a full day of growth focused content
This session sits within a wider Main Stage programme designed for salon and spa owners who want to grow their businesses, improve performance and think more strategically about the future of the industry.
