Image of the day - enchanted beauty by philip bell

I am in the lucky position to receive thousands of images every year from around the world. Some of them are stunning; others need a little bit more work but the one thing they all are is exciting. Creativity is at its peak in the hairdressing industry, with stylists of all ages turning their hand at creating fashion images. With this in mind I will be regularly bringing you my Image of the Day, an image that has caught my eye for a variety of reasons. A great image is made up of many components - make-up, clothes, lighting and the right model. Hair is just a small part of making an image great. It might be beautiful, it might be something a bit different - the great thing about fashion is that it is subjective and what one person loves another loathes. Today my Image of the Day comes from Philip Bell from Ishoka in Aberdeen. I love the romanticism on this shot; the way she is looking down with the flower in her hand makes you wonder who it is from - an admirer? A lover? The flash of colour and moving texture around her face adds to the enchanting feeling of the story.
