Antoinette Beenders is the global creative director for Aveda and has created some amazing images over the years. I have always believed she is before her time - who remembers her British collection of old, mature women with trendy haircuts? It had never been seen before and many people didn't get it, however years later it has been recreated by many other stylists. This image is from the latest Heart Lands collection she did for Aveda. I love the peach blush colour of the hair and the bevelled edges, with the soft waves held in place by a simple hair pin.
