The fact that it is international for a start, the fact that it attracts a melting pot of creative types from all around the globe. Industry legends, fashion and trends at their best, laid bare for all to see!

For a start it is held in the most wonderful and vibrant city in the world - London - and then there is the fact that it has the young, the old, the greats, the innovations, the boundary-pushing shows, the business lectures, the product innovations, the sparkle, the witty banter, the demonstrations, the charitable undertone, the sharing of information, the learning, the sharpening of scissors (both proverbial and actual), the mingling, the international trade press, the sampling, the colours, the music, the market-place like relaxed atmosphere, the 'Industry Icons' milling about, the governing bodies, the excitement and the manufacturers with their latest wares.....what more can one ask for?

The fact that year after year, industry business experts such as myself are invited to speak on topics that affect trade in the industry. Something that is said at a session can make such a positive difference to a business half way around the globe.

Last year I remember seeing three of my industry mentors/legends walking about mingling with the crowd, chatting away to people who have probably only ever read about them in a magazine. The smiles on their faces because they were 'star-struck' was a real treat.

Where else in the world could industry learning, sharing, innovation, talent spotting and business be so beautifully presented over such a short period of time?
