How to create rainbow bright hair colour

Over the next three months we'll be sharing lots of tips and techniques from some of the country's most-respected hair colourists for improving your hair colour business.
Here's how to give short looks a rainbow bright colour palette, as created by Lucie Doughty for Paul Mitchell.
Two C sections were taken in the front and top of the head back-to-back.
- The front C section was coloured with a dual purpose lightener.
- On the side gold brown was applied, with the remaining hair coloured with dark gold brown and leave to develop for 30 minutes.
- At the front lightened section, blue and yellow was applied, then slices of four foils of purple and blue, two foils of neon red and red, two foils of purple and blue, four foils of neon red and red, 2 foils of yellow and green, two foils of neon and red and four foils of yellow and green. Hair was then left to process for 20 minutes.
- Hair was blow-dried and freehand-cut for refinement
