How to create a sleek high ponytail on curly hair

If you want to channel your client's (or your own inner Ariana Grande) then look no further than this super simple tutorial from Michelle Thompson and Avlon. Using the Affirmright and Moisturight product lines Michelle created this sleek high ponytail that is perfect for the upcoming party season. Follow the below steps to recreate this look... Step 1 -  For a luxury cleanse and to get rid of dirt and daily product build-up, the hair was washed using the Moisturight Clarifying Shampoo. This was repeated and followed with the Moisturight Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. Step 2  - For texture definition the Leave-In DetanglingMist was sparingly used to detangle and deposit moisture without leaving the hair with a heavy build-up. The hair was then blow-dried using a foam wrap lotion.

Step 3 - For the defined full-bodied waves through the hair, ceramic straighteners were used to create loose curls. These were then pulled through to form a wave. Step 4 - Using a boar bristle brush create a smooth ponytail on top of the head and secure with an elastic. Spritz the lengths with Laminate Spray. sbs
