We caught up with Natasha Grossman, CEO of HOB Salons, to discover how Wella Professionals’ exclusive RED community is helping salon leaders find fresh inspiration, share ideas and build stronger businesses.
Wella Professionals’ RED programme brings together some of the UK’s leading salons, giving members access to exclusive networking, business insight, education and the latest innovations.

A community for business leaders
For Natasha Grossman, being part of RED is about connecting with other salon leaders, sharing experiences and taking practical ideas back into the business.
“It’s always great to connect with like-minded business leaders who can share their successes and challenges,” she says. “It’s a chance to bounce ideas off each other, take away tangible ideas and build them into my business.”
The programme’s events are a particular highlight. Natasha describes Wella Business Network Live as her favourite event of the year, giving her the chance to step away from the day-to-day and gain a fresh perspective.
“When you’re busy running a business, it’s easy to forget how much you’re already doing,” she explains. “RED events give you the opportunity to step back, benchmark your business and gain fresh perspective.”
Turning inspiration into action
For HOB Salons, that inspiration has translated directly into new business initiatives. A presentation at Wella Business Network Live inspired the team to launch its Blow Dry Club in 2023, followed by its Colour Club subscription service.
“Both have increased client spend and visit frequency while giving us guaranteed income, which is invaluable in today’s challenging climate,” says Natasha.
The relationship between HOB and Wella Professionals spans 43 years, with Natasha highlighting the brand’s technology, support and education as key to helping salon teams develop their skills and confidence.

Sharing knowledge through mentoring
Natasha is also part of the RED Mentoring Programme, supporting fellow salon owners as they navigate the challenges of building profitable businesses.
“One of the biggest challenges for salon owners is learning how to build a profitable business, and not everyone feels equipped to do that alone,” she says.
For Natasha, collaboration is key. “We need to support one another, and I’m all about collaboration. Wella recognises how challenging the industry is and wants to make that support affordable and accessible.”
