The 2024 Hooker & Young Conference took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Newcastle on 7 February. Held by award-winning hairdressers Gary Hooker and Michael Young, the annual conference – which has been running for the past 15 years – allows the partners to bring together all 50 members of staff from their four salons, to celebrate everything that is great about the Hooker & Young team.
Discussing the day, Michael shared: "It really is an amazing day for everyone. We have a team of 50 across our salon group and we always like to create opportunities for the entire team to get together; it’s important for us to reward individuals for their outstanding achievements."
Taking place at the conference are the Hooker & Young Salon Team Awards, which include business-focussed categories, with results based on performance and figures.
