Hob shortlisted as 'brand builder of the year'
hob salons have been named finalists in The British Franchise Association's (bfa) Franchisor of the Year Awards in the Express Newspapers' Brand Builder of the Year category.
The salon group, which now owns 10 salons and has a further five franchise salons, was short-listed to the final three and will discover if they have won on June 18.
Geraldine Haenow, Advertising Group Head at Express Newspapers, explains, "This year's finalists for the Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year Award have shown real credence in building a reputable brand within the franchise industry over the last 12 months.
"Through ambitious planning and successful promotion the finalists have constructed a reliable platform for success and I'm sure this will accelerate their business to tackle the current unstable economic market head on."
Speaking of their finalist status, hob salons director Clive Collins said "We are absolutely delighted to have been short-listed as a finalist for this particular award because creating a strong brand identity is something we pride ourselves on and has been intrinsic to our success.
"We are dedicated to ensuring consistency throughout all our salons and franchises and are consistently working to build a strong and clear brand identity. This award is testament to the hard work of all our salons and team and will hopefully further grow our franchise network."
