HOB Salons Hatch End raised more than £2,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, following a charity event - including a cake sale which saw clients get seriously creative.
Amongst the concoctions created by clients were cakes shaped like a hippo in a bath and, defying gravity, a tinting bowl and brush - pictured above.
Members of staff didn't miss out on the opportunity to raise funds, wearing bad-hair wigs for the duration of the two-day fundraiser.
Salon manager Chloe Rumball also recruited local businesses from Hatch End High Street to donate prizes, which were raffled on the day to raise a grand total of £2,044.53 - more than double the £1,000 target.
Chloe says: "It was a really fun couple of days in the salon and we were all excited to have a visit from a little boy who is currently being treated at the hospital, who we gave a pampering treat. He also drew the raffle for us. We are so grateful for all the support we received from clients and other businesses in the area; the day created a great atmosphere and GOSH is an amazing cause to be involved with."
