Hob salons apprenticeship framework introduced HOB Salons Apprenticeship Framework Introduced The Hob Salons Apprenticeship program is going to the next level, as the Skills Funding Agency has awarded the salon group a direct grant to deliver the complete apprenticeship framework to all of their apprentices. The 24-salon group is now able to deliver Intermediate and Advanced Levels in both Hairdressing and Barbering under the VTCT awarding body. There are more than 100 apprentices at the HOB Assistant Academy, with an in-house assessing team headed up by Apprenticeship programme manager Claire Ensor and tutor assessor Billy Brown, both of whom are on hand five days a week to deliver all apprenticeship training needs. International creative director for HOB Salons Akin Konizi says: "We are committed to the training and progression of our team. This apprenticeship will allow us to be in full control of all of our assistant training and development, ensuring they get the training they need to the superior standard we demand. Giving our apprentices the best possible start to their careers, this is an incredible opportunity for us as a company, reflecting not only our belief in education, but our commitment to our salon teams and clients. Our apprentices are our future."
