Hj's student creative team of the year winners announced!

HJ's Student Creative Team of the Year winner has been announced following a live final at Salon International 2014, with Molly Towle from Daniel Granger Hairdressing and makeup artist Chloe Hunter named the champions. This wasn't Molly's first time battling it out in the live competition arena at Salon International. Last year she was named as runner up in the competition, which is sponored by Salon Supplies. Molly's Pink-inspired updo wowed the judges to such an extent that they made a group decision to award a runner-up prize. Getting a taste for winning clearly gave Molly a boost, as this year she returned and scooped the top score. For 2014, it was a Maleficent-inspired updo that wowed the judges, with Michelle Griffin, Desmond Murray and sponsors Salon Supplies all on hand to interview and observe the finalists in the live competition area. [hji-gallery-legacy] Entrants were tasked with submitting a photograph of a celebrity-inspired hairstyle, with hundreds of entries whittled down to a final six. The finalists were invited to Salon International as guests of HJ, and had to recreate their looks live in the central competition area, in front of thousands of Salon International attendees.
