HJ's Extensions Competition, sponsored by Remi Cachet, challenges hair pros to show off their technical skills and creative abilities by demonstrating the most flawless and innovative application of extensions ending in a live awards ceremony on the HJ stage at Salon International 2025.
It is totally free to enter HJ's Extensions Competition, simply fill out the form below and include 3 images (before, during application and after). Once entries have closed a strict, anonymous judging process will take place online.

HJ’s EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST OF THE YEAR - COMMERCIAL LOOK
This category recognises stylists who create commercial looks that solve hair challenges for everyday clients with an extension service – creativity to demonstrate looks that address specific hair challenges, to ensure the client not only looks great but feels confident.

- The images must be between 2MB and 5MB in size

HJ’s EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST OF THE YEAR - CREATIVE LOOK (AVANT GARDE)
This category recognises stylists who create looks where colour and styling show no boundaries with an extension service. Break the norm - showcase innovative creations with a creative flair. Push the limits of conventional extension techniques to show unique and artistic looks.

- The images must be between 2MB and 5MB in size
