It is with regret that we announce the postponement of HJ Live London 2020. HJ Live London has now merged with Salon International for 2020.
With rising cases of the Coronavirus throughout the UK and with the show being very much an international event, as organisers we have a duty of care to our visitors, exhibitors, employees and contracted staff.
Whilst we have received a very positive reaction from our visitors, who are keenly expressing their interest and excitement to still attend the show, we are also aware of a growing number of corporate hotel and spa employees who are forbidden to travel and/or attend events. With the Government threatening to cancel large-scale events, we also are mindful of the costs to both visitors and exhibitors who are making commitments to attend the show. It would be devastating if we were notified on the opening day of the show that we were not able to go ahead.
Therefore with the health and well-being of our hair community being our utmost priority, we have taken the decision to postpone the Professional Beauty and HJ Live London exhibition to the 11 & 12 October at ExCeL London, alongside our flagship hair exhibition, Salon International.
The combined events will be Europe’s largest autumn gathering of salon and spa professionals. October will be the new home for the event, with the largest collection of beauty, spa, aesthetic and hair brands anywhere in Europe.
Hair salon owners will be able to access beauty and spa brands, which are great additional revenue streams. Beauty salons and spas can delve into the world of hairdressing to decide if it’s an area they wish to expand into. Freelancers, many of whom are multi-skilled across both hair and beauty, will be able to see the trends across the entire industry, all under one roof.
The hair, beauty and spa profession is the most wonderful industry and we look forward to helping it meet and overcome its challenges to grow and drive over the coming months and years.
