Hj launches bridal hairdresser of the year competition!

Could you be named HJ's Bridal Hairdresser of the Year? The competition is now open - and all you have to do is upload a picture to enter! New for 2015, HJ’s Bridal Hairdresser of the Year recognises stylists who create beautiful hair for their client's big day. HJ’s Bridal Hairdresser of the Year is open to all UK stylists trained to NVQ level 2 or above or who have a minimum of five years’ experience. You can be freelance or based in a salon - all you really have to do is be great at creating memorable wedding hair! To enter, just upload a shot of a beautiful bridal look. Tell us in 50 words why you love it - and that's it! The lucky finalists will be invited to Salon International on Sunday 11 October to recreate their look live in front of a panel of judges before the winner is announced on the HJ stage at the show. Bridal Hairdresser of the Year: What You Need to Know

- Entrants have to be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above or have a minimum of five years’ experience. - Just upload a picture of a bridal hairstyle to enter - it can be in colour or black and white and it does not need to be a professional shot, as long as we can see the hair clearly. - If you're a finalist, you'll need to recreate the look in 45 minutes in a live competition at Salon International on Sunday 11 October. - The deadline is at 5pm on 4 September 2015. - You can read the full Ts & Cs here
