Health and saftey doesn't stop in the salon - a warning!
At the mention of the words 'health and safety' most people's eyes glaze over and their minds begin to wander.
But this story in the Daily Mail, should be just the reminder that anyone needs that health and safety must be taken seriously for a reason.
A 19-year-old hairdresser was killed when her car exploded. It's thought that it caught on fire when she lit up a cigarette and ignited fumes from a bottle of hydrogen peroxide (bleach) that had leaked in her car.
The chemicals used in hairdressing are powerful and highly flammable (remember the news reports that they were used to create bombs by the London bombers) and need to be stored with care.
Take risks and it's not just your clients' hair that you are putting at risk.
