Here is HJ’s calendar of upcoming courses and events in 2018. First up, this is what's coming up in July and August. What: Electric Sessions Where: Electric’s Brighton studio When: 1 July, 17 September and 19 November. More info: This evening event gathers stylists from across all six Electric salons, plus stylists from Electric salon stockists. The sessions keep stylists up-to-date with trends, shows and innovative ways to use the brand’s products and learn the techniques the Electric Art Team have created. What: BaByliss PRO Backstage Story Where: London Leeds When: 2 July in London and 4 July in Leeds More info: This hands-on three-hour workshop will give attendees an insight into the session world. Leading stylists Sam Burnett and Ben Hards who work backstage at fashion week will share their tips, techniques and creativity. You will explore two catwalk looks and master the essential skills. What: L’Oréal Professionnel Classic French Balayage Where: Multiple locations, including Belfast at the Andrew Mulvenna Salon When: 6 August and 5 November in Belfast More info: Now one of the most requested colour techniques in the world, balayage comes in many different variants. This course was inspired by a French hairdresser who shared the classic technique with L’Oréal Professionnel. The course runs throughout the year at different venues and dates across the UK.
