Hairdressers are fit!

At least, that’s what a group of stylists from the award winning Contemporary salon group have proved.For the intrepid trio laced up their running shoes for the Race For Life which raises money for cancer research.

Jessica Bottomley, Steph Gill and Macy Marsay, all stylists at Contemporary Guisborough, ran the 5k race at Middlesbrough’s Ormesby Hall. "We really enjoyed it and it was great running together," said Macy. "We all trained together and ran together on the day but because it was really muddy, we didn’t cross the finish line together – although we weren’t far apart! Everyone was too busy trying to dodge the mud puddles. "We did the race last year because we thought it would be a really worthwhile thing to do and decided to go for it again this year for the same reasons. We’re not stopping there though – we’re doing a 10K run in September too!"
