Haircuts4homeless are taking hair of london's streets The community group and charity Haircuts4Homeless are skilled hairdressers who gives their free time, free of charge, to provide haircuts for homeless people on the streets in the UK. This week they took to London's Covent Garden as the city hosted London Beauty Week. Steward Roberts, the founder of Haircuts4Homeless says, “Whatever the causes of an individual’s homelessness, the consequences can be brutal. Homelessness damages people’s capability: they lose skills; they can’t think about employment while worrying about housing; their health becomes impaired due to being homeless. It knocks their resilience, self-esteem and self-confidence." At the event, celebrity hairdressers in attendance included Neil Moodie, Leigh Keates, Adam Reed and Johnnie Sapong. They have all worked alongside Stewart Roberts, offering their time, skill and commitment to this cause to help raise awareness of Haircuts4Homeless and to promote the inclusivity of London Beauty Week. Although, their usual clientele includes the rich and the famous: Natalie Portman, Brad Pitt, Alicia Vikander, Jessica Chastain, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, among others - their keenness to support Haircuts4Homeless sees them taking care of the hair of those living on the streets of London.
