Hair oils are perfect for this season's soft bouncy waves

While 2009 saw the rise and popularity of keratin treatments, I believe this year oils will mark their territory in salons and bathrooms across the land. And with soft waves and smooth chignons the looks for spring/summer 2010, it's the perfect product to create the perfect foundation. There's several on the market, including Orofluido, Shu Uemera Art of Hair and Moroccanoil. I've used Moroccanoil, which has already taken the US by storm and is a favourite at shows including Carolina Herrera and with celebrity stylists including Mark Townsend, who used it on Diane Kruger and January Jones at last weeks SAG awards. Using a dollop the size of a 10p piece it is stroked through the hair before styling. It left my hair unbelieveably soft and bouncy and even gave my curls a shine. With looks this summer hinting at the au natural, with shine, bounce and softness top of the list, I'm sure there will be many more to hit the marketplace in the coming months.
