Hair colour for men - don't miss out on the revolution Jared Leto out and about, New York, America - 28 Oct 2014 Jared Leto is just one major male celeb who is making hair colour for men cool again. Like many of his A-list female counterparts, he has embraced the ombré trend, with his multi-tonal long hair look. Thanks in part to celebrities like Jared, salons across the UK are waking up to the fact that colour for men represents a massive opportunity. Obviously not every male client can carry off the Leto look – nor would many of them want to – but offering bespoke colour services for men makes commercial sense and gives men’s stylists and barbers the chance to get a bit creative. There's a raft of options available to salons and barbershops, from quick five-minute treatments that can be carried out at the backwash for a subtle effect, to the more extreme fashion colours evident in many of this year’s entries to the Men’s Hairdresser of the Year category of HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards – including this shot from finalist Martin Crean.
