Hair club live launch with a disco extravaganza
A capacity audience of 400 hairdressers turned up to the Northampton Theatre to see the artistic team at myhairdressers.com entertain, educate and inspire at the inaugral Hair Club Live event.
The evening began with a showcase from rising local talent Johnny Seckington of Seckingtons Hair.
Drawing inspiration from disco, Johnny showcased three models with an emphasis on big statement hair. Also acting as compere for the evening, Johnny then introduced the stars of the evening, Lee Stafford, Stacey Broughton and Bee Dixon.
Lee, Stacey and Bee entertained and inspired the audience for the next two hours, demonstrating new techniques to improve cuts for long curly hair as well as creating head-turning styles incorporating beautiful colouring perfect for everyday that could be livened up with some product for a night on the town.
Hair Club Live event director, Dom Lehane was thrilled with the success of the first event. "There have been a few sleepless nights recently, but seeing the reactions of the audience to the team from myhairdressers.com has proved them to be worthwhile.
"Plans are already underway to produce the next Hair Club Live event at a different venue in the country. The whole purpose of Hair Club Live is to inspire local stylists by bringing the biggest names and art teams in the industry to accessible local venues."
