Hair associates celebrate their creative talent

As part of their programme to encourage and recognise their creative talent, the Hair Associates Group celebrated in style at their Assistant Competition and Recognition Awards at Bar Essence in Kingston Upon Thames.

Assistants were grouped into three categories - 1st Year, 2nd Year & 3rd Year Avant-garde - and asked to create a look based on the theme 'Uber-Chic'.

On the night they presented their model in catwalk style, giving judges Ann Herman from the Fellowship of British Hairdressing and Goldwell's William Wilson a professional explanation about their looks.

The evening also saw Recognition Awards being given to those who had demonstrated outstanding achievement and those who'd shown dedication having been with the group for at least 10 years.

2nd Year: Simone Bennett (Esher)

3rd Year Avant Garde: Sophie Barrington (Kingston)

Assistant Recognition Award: Zivile Simatolskyte

Stylist Recognition Award: Kayleigh Pritchard (Kingston)

Top Taker: Rob McFerrier (Kingston)

Best Performing Salon: Twickenham salon
