The Hair & Beauty Charity joined forces with the HBSA to celebrate the return of their annual Charity Golf Day at the prestigious Staverton Park in Daventry, raising a total of £4,403.72. The Golf Day was held in memory of Peter Belcher, former Managing Director of Schwarzkopf Professional, after his sad and unexpected passing last December.
The event, which returned after a two-year hiatus due to COVID, saw 24 golfers take to the green to tee off and included teams from Wella Professionals, HBSA, Kao Corporation, Schwarzkopf Professional and Salon Distribution Concepts. Swapping their straightening irons for 9-irons for a good cause and with four awards to play for, the stakes were high.
After a tough day on the course, the players enjoyed a delicious 3-course dinner sponsored by ghd professional while the score cards were counted and Hair & Beauty Charity President, Jayne Lewis Orr, presented the participants with awards for their efforts. The HBSA secured multiple wins, taking home trophies for Best Individual and Best Team.

Wella Professional and Salon Distribution Concepts were also among the winners with Allen Withey and Alex Cottage taking home awards for Longest Drive and Nearest-the-Pin.

This year we’re delighted to have raised over £4,000 in memory of Peter Belcher, a man who had such an impact on our industry. Congratulations to all of our winners.”
