Gyunel autumn/winter 2015: get the hair look Gyunel Autumn/Winter 2015 Get the Hair Look Darren Ambrose and the Wella Professionals team created post-apocalyptic ponytails for the Gyunel Autumn/Winter 2015 show at London Fashion Week. The show: Gyunel Autumn/Winter 2015 The hair team: Darren Ambrose for Wella Professionals The look: Three interpretations of dreadlocks; a full ponytail of twisted faux dreadlocks, a head of broken-up curls with a few dreadlocks through the lengths and a half-up style incorporating the look. Each style was finished with black leather cord bound and tied around the hair and woven into the plaits. The inspiration: Post-apocalyptic survivors The key product: EIMI Dry Me (EIMI is the new range from Wella Professionals, launching in May 2015.) Get the Look 1. Wash the hair with Wella Professionals Care & Style Moisturising Shampoo then massage EIMI Root Shoot Mousse into the hair. 2. Roughly section the hair by hand and spray EIMI Dry Me into the roots. Blast with a hair dryer to work the product in. 3. Backcomb hair at the roots to create texture and support for the style. 4. Add EIMI Thermal Image, then use a large tong to create spiral curls irregularly over the whole head, making sure that there are no defined, clean sections. Shake hair out while spraying all over with more dry shampoo to give a matte finish. 5. TTake a teardrop section at the crown and apply EIMI Texture Touch, then backcomb at the roots. Starting at the bottom of the teardrop - towards the nape of the neck - twist the hair in small sections to create the fake dreadlocks. Spray with hairspray and smooth over with irons, then finish the ends with EIMI Rugged Texture to maintain the shape. 6. Wrap black leather around the hair or around hair in small sections. galleryWidgetDec14
