Group momentum celebrates a year of success

Group Momentum recently celebrated its success with an awards evening that applauded the hard work of the salon’s teams. Hosted by special guest Sean Dawson of HOB Salons, the night was one to remember—with entertainment  from DNA magicians who performed for the guests, combining mind-reading and magic. Team members from across the company’s salon network were recognised at all levels. Among the winners were Chelsea Carter, named Apprentice Of The Year for her commitment and hard work; Katie Lucente who was named Retailer Of The Year and Georgie Skittlethorpe who was crowned as Shining Star Of The Year for standing out and making a real difference. Commenting on the night, Linton Husbands, managing director of Group Momentum said:  "This year's awards ceremony celebrated the group's success of the past 12-months, and for the first time all our salons were nominated under one criteria within the Group Momentum brand. We had great support from our stakeholders; L'Oreal Professional, LWPR, and were delighted to have Sean Dawson as our guest speaker and co-presenter. The addition of two magicians throughout the evening added extra fun and value to the event, with a mixture of both tension and excitement when it came to the awards."
