Great lengths awards 2010 finalists

great-lengths-awards.jpgThe finalists of the inaugural Great Lengths Awards have been chosen after an intense day of judging at London's Home House.

With nine categories that incorporated creative awards such as bridal look and avant garde look of the year, as well as business awards that encouraged salons to analyse their hair extensions business and personnel, the awards provided Great Lengths salons with the perfect opportunity to examine their entire extensions offering.

"Our aim with the Great Lengths Awards is to celebrate and reward these achievements whilst providing salons with the perfect platform to showcase their creativity and commercial talents," said Great Lengths managing director Philip Sharp.

Julie-Eldrett-judging.jpg"Success in these awards will undoubtedly provide a wealth of opportunities for salons to increase their profile in the industry, and attract new clients by enabling them to position themselves as one of the leading extensions salons in the UK."

The finalists were selected by a panel of judges that included Urban Retreat Harrods salon manager Marcus Allen and hairdressing industry business experts David Drew and Julie Eldrett and will be invited to a glitzy celebration at London's Mayfair Hotel on 12 September where the winners will be announced and presented with prizes that include PR support, training and a trip to the Great Lengths international conference in Rome.
