Goldwell has teamed up with London College of Fashion for a fifth consecutive year to celebrate the relationship with hair and fashion.
Students in the final year of FDA Hair and Makeup were briefed with creating their own interpretations of Goldwell's 2012 Fascinature ColorZoom trends in a project called Fashionising Fascinature.
London College of Fashion's Director of Creative Media, Maggie Norden said: "Every year we take inspiration from Goldwell ColorZoom and Fascinature is a perfect choice for our students. It's all about print, pattern and the world around us, which is what we're all about at London College of Fashion."
After their initial briefing and planning period, the shoots took place on a tight schedule of just three hours - encouraging students to plan and research, but also to work to a deadline and as part of a collaborative team, preparing them for future life working on sets, shoots and studios.

As well as submitting moodboards and inspiration journals, each group of students created a photographic collection and short film showing an eclectic array of interpretations of Fascinature which were debuted at a screening attended by students and press.

Focussing on creating high-end editorial looks, styles ranged from bright pink hair sculpted in pristine Marcel waves to childlike rough braids and fluffy textured bouffants, blasted with orange pigment.
Goldwell's Head of Creative Direction, William Wilson said: "The images created are comparable with the work created by session stylists and hairdressers. Each group has gone in a completely different direction - they stuck to the brief, but came back with six totally original looks. Working on virtually no budget, they have come up with some fantastic work which will help them secure careers in the hair and beauty industry."
