Golden oldies ruled the golden globes

While younger stars opted for tumbling waves and soft updos, the Golden Oldies proved that over-50s can look as glamorous and as sexy as the rest of them! The beautiful blow-dry was the look of the night, with soft fringes and layers framing the face. Even when 61-year-old Helen Mirren swept her hair back off her face, a little root lift ensured it didn't look harsh or ageing, but left her cheekbones exposed and showing the newer stars how oozing sex appeal doesn't mean flashing oodles of flesh!
