The hair at Glastonbury 2024 didn't disappoint – some were a little more grunge than glam, but we saw celebrities such as Dua Lipa and Florence Pugh embracing natural textures and festival favourite looks.
Amelia Evans, Artistic Director, HARE & BONE shares the favourite styles she spotted.
Olivia Dean
Natural curls are being embraced and face-framing layers are very popular in the salon at the moment, it's so fun to cut curly hair again. The movement of this has made all stylists have to up their curl game and celebrities doing this will make it even more popular.
Daisy Edgar Jones
Her hair is effortlessly cool with natural texture or what looks like it's been left in braids overnight. This is true festival hair. The colour of some soft lighter subleased balayage pieces work so nicely with her skin tone. For me, this is my favourite. This is a very popular look in salons right now - the more natural the better.
Dua Lipa
She's always an icon for hairdressers, changing her colour to be bang on trend. Cherry cola red has been on trend since the start of 2024 but no one does it better than Dua Lipa. This is now starting to slowly creep into everyday salon life and I'm here for it. The perfect red for your skin tone has to be achieved by a professional colourist, whether that be more violet based or more copper based reds. It's such a fun colour to do!
Florence Pugh
Headbands and accessories have never been more popular, so of course a true boho flower headband had to be done at Glastonbury, Florence Pugh emulates ultimate festival babe vibes. Maybe we will see more flowers in hair from now on. This was a big trend in the 2000s and they are massive in fashion again so watch this space.
