The BRIT Awards 2020 celebrated the best of British and international music talent as well
as its 40 th anniversary on Tuesday 18 February at the O2 Arena with its official hair partner
Gina Conway Aveda Salon & Spas.
Comedian host Jack Whitehall introduced world-class music talent to the stage, including
Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Mabel, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Celeste, Dave and Stormzy.
Ahead of the awards ceremony official hair partner Gina Conway Aveda Salon & Spas gave
artists and influencers express hair treatments in the BRITS Backstage Spa area.
The express treatments included the BRITs Blow-Dry using Aveda’s natural products for a
groomed look and red-carpet curls for a classic Hollywood style. The Slick ‘n’ Sass Updo
option gave guests a slick side parting updo with a high bun or pony. While the Revive
Massage featured a three to five-minute relaxing Aveda massage with oils containing notes of
bergamot and lavender. The likes of award-winner Lewis Capaldi were one of the many
artists and guests who enjoyed this treatment and Lewis revealed that it was his first ever
massage.
Artists and influencers were also treated to hydrating skin treatments courtesy of Clinique,
BRIT-inspired nails courtesy of Red Carpet Manicure and grooming services by Lab Series
for Men.
