Giles spring/summer 2015: get the hair look Giles Spring/Summer 2015: Get the Hair Look - frontGiles Spring/Summer 2015: Get the Hair Look Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and the TONI&GUY team created a grungy take on Victoriana for the Giles Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The show: Giles Spring/Summer 2015 The hair team: Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and the TONI&GUY team The look: A V-shaped parting, with sides of the hair tied in a low ponytail and the top diamond-shaped section secured in a layered ponytail on top. The inspiration: Victoriania meets grunge. The collection was all about 70s disco, so Sacha and the team wanted to create a hair look in total contrast; dusty, matte and slightly grungy. The key product: label.m Salt Spray Get the Look 1. Prep hair with lots of label.m Salt Spray, drying in to create a matte, dusty texture. 2. Create two partings from the centre of the hairline back, creating a diamond-shape section on top of the head. Tie the hair with a small elastic high on the top of the head. 3. Tease hair out from this section slightly and dust with label.m Resurrection Dust, pulling out slightly to add height and texture. 4. Take the remaining hair on either side of the hair and pull back, draping over the ears and tying at the nape of the neck. Tuck in the ends of the top ponytail, if hair is long enough. 5. Sprinkle some more Resurrection Dust through the lengths of the ponytail to create the matte, dusty texture required. Tease out a few wisps on either side of the face.
