ghd has launched the search for a team of young stylists looking to fast-track their career and learn from the best in the business as part of the ghd Style Squad.
The international styling brand is looking for a team of trend-hungry, passionate and forward-thinking young hairdressers who will receive hands-on training from the renowned ghd creative educators and art team.
To enter, interested stylists will have to demonstrate their passion trend-led hairdressing by producing a fashion week trend report and presenting it to the judging panel.
This money-can't-buy experience is ideal for an ambitious young stylist keen to develop their career through a combination of practical hairdressing experience and technical knowledge, as well as work on presentation skills and full ghd brand exposure.
To top it off, members of the Style Squad will earn points for every hour they spend working for the team, which can be redeemed against the full range of ghd products to help build a kitbag that any session-styling superstar would be proud of.
ghd's UK education manager, Jo Robertson said: "We wanted to seek out and nurture undiscovered talent from our salon network We have our art team - who are amazing, of course - but they are well-established and experienced session stylists in their own right. The Style Squad will be made up of young, newly- or soon-to-be qualified stylists who are hungry to learn from our educators and get involved outside the salon environment, but in the process will become ghd experts who can help educate their own teams."
