Jack outlines his six steps to get the look:

1. Prep the hair, Jack prefers to use the L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Pli
2. Blow dry the hair smooth
3. Using a medium sized barrel tong, create a subtle beach wave
4. Apply a light salt spray mist all over the hair and allow to dry naturally. This is to create a lived-in, beach effect

5. Break up the beach waves by adding one or two small to medium braids

6. To finish, apply a texturizing powder spray
