As Seanhanna salons launch their
debut braid menu, we find out how to create one of our favourite looks with this simple waterfall braid tutorial.
Scroll down to see how the look is created, then see it brought to life in the video below!
Step 1
Prep the hair to a final texture and find a suitable parting.
Step 2
Create a medium size curved section. This will be the hair that will pass through the braid.
Step 3
Create an anchor with a three strand braid.
Step 4
Take a section from the top and pass this through the three strand braid. This section is not incorporated into the braid. Pass this section between two strands up and one strand down.
Step 5
Take a small strand from the hair underneath and add it into the braid to keep it secure.
Step 6
The braid should start to look like this once the movement is complete.
Step 7
Keep the tension by pulling down the top sections, making sure the braid is clean.
Step 8
The braid will start to look like it is working its way around the head.
Step 9
Secure the braid at the back with a clear band. Hide any loose ends by pinning them underneath for a seamless look.
Step 10
The finished look.
