Learn how to recreate 2015's most in-demand colour with our silver hair tutorial from James Earnshaw at the Francesco Group.
1. Pre-lighten to a very pale blonde base.
2. Tone using a global application of violet ash blonde, which removes any warmth.
3. Apply a deep slate toner to the root area, and take more root through the back and less at the front.
4. Apply ice white toner to remaining ends.
5. Gently comb through the section where the two toners meet to give a more soft, random fusion of tone.
