Get the look: loose waves featuring the wahl style collection

Follow Hooker and Young’s simple steps to recreate the loose waves featured in the Wahl Style Collection ads... 1. Apply a volumising mousse to damp hair at the root along with a small amount of silk shine cream through the mid-length to the ends. 2. Use the Wahl Dryer on medium heat and the fastest speed setting. Blast the root areas in the opposite direction to the hair to create maximum volume and movement. Continue blow-drying the mid-length and ends for a smooth finish. 3. Divide the hair into three sections; ear to ear across the crown, then front hairline to crown in a centre parting. 4. Starting at the nape, take horizontal sections of approximately two inches in depth and divide into three small sub sections from left to right. Lightly spray each section with hairspray. 5. Using the Wahl Styling Iron at 185° create a scored wave from root to tip reversing direction with every section for an undone wave. 6. Continue to the crown before moving into the front two sections. Both left and right sections are waved using the same reverse sectioning technique. Ensure both front sections left and right are directed forward towards the face to give a more head-hugging result. 7. Shake hair through with fingers to create movement and separation whilst still keeping definition. Finally, spritz with a flexible hold hairspray.
