Get the felder felder look

felder3.jpgCurls at the Felder Felder show were soft, feminine and innocent. While clothes took on a futuristic feeling, hair was more vintage and retro. Backstage, Nick Irwin led the TIGI creative team and explains: "Our inspirations were paganism, Jim Morrison, rock n' roll, a sexy Janice Joplin, 70's vibe. This season we wanted hair to be all one texture with a middle parting and really clean through the roots. Here he explains how to get the look:

felder1.jpg1 TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Lightweight Mousse was used first to lightly prep the hair--when the girls walk down the runway, I wanted the hair to flow behind them off their faces.

2 Next TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Firm Hold Hairspray was sprayed onto small sections of hair (literally drenching it), which was then rolled into a pin curl and clamped with a straightening iron.

3 Once this set I used a Mason Pearson brush from the roots through to the ends--this achieved a weightless, cloudy haze of hair.
