Get the christopher kane look
The look was definitley more Princess Margaret than Princess Anne over at the Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2011 show - and that is exactly who inspired Paul Hanlon and the TIGI team at the Christopher Kane show. Working backstage Paul said: "The inspiration for hair this season was a young Princess Margaret and friends. This was natural, expensive, rich beautiful hair; not rigid or overtly styled but blown out, soft and volumized." Here's how to get the look:
1 Hair was prepped with TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost spray and brushed through, maintaining volume at the front.
2 Sides were kept tight and groomed with TIGI Catwalk Sleek Mystique Look-Lock Hairspray, sprayed underneath the top layer of hair and swept back. This gently set the style while ensuring the texture stayed dry, fresh and rich looking.
3 Hair was tonged lightly and secured with a tight elastic band, then let loose just before the show to create an individual kink that varied slightly for each girl.
