Get sleek straight hair using salon exclusive avlon affirmcare

With more clients rocking their natural curls there's more diversity in styling options for Afro hair than ever.  In this how to the Avlon Affirmcare system has been used to show that straight hair is still an option of natural hair clients. The model used in this guide to sleek straight hair, Sammy, has a mixture of both 3c and 4a curls.

1. The hair was cleansed of dirt and build up using MoisturRight Clarifying Shampoo. This was repeated and then followed on with the MoisturRight Nourishing Shampoo and the award-winning Nourishing conditioner.
2. Next, in order to prep for styling, Sammy's hair was towel dried and sprayed with the Detangling Mist and Laminate Spray. This enabled easy detangling and provides protection for the next step.
3. A blowdryer and paddle brush was used to smoothen the hair  followed by a round bristle brush to provide body.
4. To prep for the final stage, the hair was sectioned and lightly misted with the Laminate spray to add a natural sheen. Then, to finish, the hair was straightened with ceramics on a heat setting of 230 degrees celsius.

Tip: For dry ends, work in a small amount of Hairdressing Créme from the mid-lengths to the tips.
