Get ready for pinkme!

Hundreds of hairdressers are planning to go pink in the last week of October as part of pinkme!, a collaboration between salons and manufacturers designed to raise thousands of pounds for My New Hair, the charity launched by Trevor Sorbie.

Major names including the Trevor Sorbie group and Hooker & Young are going pink on 25-30 October to raise awareness of breast cancer.

With pink products, outfits, and limited edition goodies up for grabs, pinkme! has something for everyone.

"This is a great opportunity for hairdressers to make a massive statement to their team, clients and community. We really can make a difference by supporting the great work of my new hair this October," said Trevor.

They will be supported and encouraged by eco-towel manufacturer Easydry, L'Oréal, and HJ, who have got together to create the pink me! campaign. Easydry has produced a limited-edition disposable pink eco-towel for the month and is donating £1 to My New Hair for every bag sold.

"It is so important to get clients talking about this as we can really help them, and pinkme! gives us the perfect opening to start that conversation," said Gary Hooker, of Hooker & Young.
