Gap le named as latest ghd spotlight competition winner

Gap Le from Toni & Guy Canary Wharf has been named as the winner of ghd's latest spotlight competition; the talent-spotting initiative launched last year to find the UK's undiscovered hairdressing talent. To enter, stylists had to upload a hair how-to video of their favourite style to their profile on the ghd Showcase website. Entries were then judged by a ghd panel, which declared Gap the winner. Gap will now be rewarded with the opportunity to attend a ghd seminar of his choice, a goodie bag containing product and trend books, one-to-one time with the presenter of the seminar he attends and a professional version of his entry filmed in the ghd studio with the team - see it below! He says: "I entered the ghd spotlight competition because it's so popular with a great bundle of prizes! Not only do I get to have my video professionally filmed but I will also get to promote myself by starring on the ghd YouTube channel. And I also get to further my training by attending a ghd training course of my choice. "I wanted to create a hairstyle that expressed my passion for fashion and style. I entered the competition when I was in Vietnam, China and Thailand working for fashion magazines where I came up with incorporating the infinity symbol into the hairstyle for the video."
