Fudge dish the dirt on the urban music awards

Fudge and the Martyn Maxey Salon went underground and urban as the official sponsors of the Kickers Urban Music Awards 2007.Working closely with celebrity hairdresser Martin Maxey and his team of stylists, the Fudge focused hair team styled the hair of models and celebrity guest presenters throughout the evening. Being placed next to the stage area to ensure that everyone presenting on stage looked ultra cool before they stepped into the limelight meant they were right on the spot to pick up all the gossip from night.

What the F? QT One:

Nikki-Big-Brother.jpgBig Brother’s Nicki temper tantrums were in full swing as someone stepped on her toe with heels and caused her to scream, “You’ve broken my toe – how selfish can you be wearing high heels!” She was quickly pacified as the Martyn Maxey hair team quickly sat her down to restyle her hair after her screaming fit and Fudge agreed to send her a bag full of products to her home, to which she replied, “I so love Fudge. I love free things!”

What the F? QT Two:

Fudge chose to launch their government initiative Condom Awareness Campaign Condoms on the night and placed bowls full of condoms in the green room and press room. Within an hour, the celeb’s hands were in the bowls. All the VIP guests also received samples of the new Fudge Overnight Pack with Fudge Condom in their goody bags - including Jade Goody & Jack Tweedy who definitely looked back together!

What the F? QT Three:

Celebrity hairdresser, Martyn Maxey talks celebrity hair backstage, “Fudge Skyscaper was the most sort after hair product as the celebs and models were opting for the Amy Winehouse Beehive effect. Super size, super strong, it’s the best spray for keeping that backcombed hair in place.”Gabrielle.jpgJade Goody kept it safe and mumsy looking with a girly bob with sides pinned back – I’d have liked to see her go for something a bit more eye-catching as her blunt fringe is on trend. Michelle Heaton had her trade mark long extended hair but it was too long to work with the fringe, she should have had some layers and texture added to work the look more. Louisa Lytton’s beehive was fabulous and she carried off really well, whereas Bianca Gasgcoigne’s big hair attempt did her no favours – I wished she’d allowed me to tweak it! Gabrielle’s hair was stunning, a really sleek up do that she worked even more with some amazing sunglasses. Great style! Lisa Mafia was another stylish guest, a simple layered style that suited her slim features perfectly.”More Pictures of the Urban Music Awards>>
