From commercial to catwalk: saks art team

In a marked contrast to the wearable beauty of the Indulgence collection, the second half of the SAKS Art Team's Salon Live show was a riot of groundbreaking, breath-taking looks, with inspiration coming straight from the most avant-garde of catwalk styles.

The collection of four wild editorial looks ranged from stark, black ponytails with strands of hair whipped across the model's face, to Jessica Rabbit-style cascading red locks, topped with a vintage feathered skullcap.An amazing gravity-defying geometric style raised eyebrows, but my favourite was the new-tech creation -- a delicately dramatic choppy style in palest blonde, with shades of mango, pink and grey running through the hair, finished with a shimmering metallic visor under the fringe.It's my first ever Salon International this year and the show from Andrew & Co was my first taste of the Salon Live experience.
