The first multi-service Marie Claire Jetstyle
hair and beauty salon will open in Kings Cross St Pancras in April 2020.
The Marie Claire Jetstyle hair and beauty salon, founded by
Steph Stevenson will open under Marie Claire licensing and open globally across a number of airports and train stations.
Steph an editorial, celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur says: “My lightbulb moment came when I was waiting to travel, and I realised that if I created a multi-service hair and beauty salon in major railway stations and airports, then I could transform women’s beauty needs. So many women are rushing to do their hair and nails when they leave home, and just sit around when they arrive at an airport or train station. For so many women, time is essential, so having a super-fast and luxe beauty experience made so much sense and then Marie Claire Jetstyle was born!”
Joining the Marie Claire Jetstyle business is Justine Southall who has three decades of experience working with some of the biggest media businesses including Hearst, BBC and TI Media. Most recently Justine was the managing director of TI Media’s flagship title Marie Claire, and board director of
beauty and wellness retailer Fabled by Marie Claire.
Justine says: “As working women ourselves we know that everything about Marie Claire Jetstyle resonates with busy women, and the positioning in major stations and airports means that wasted travel is a thing of the past. The multi service concept has more than one therapist working on each customer to deliver three treatments in 45 minutes, this means that speed and luxury can be combined for the first time. Combining the recognition, beauty expertise and credibility of Marie Claire with Steph’s experience as a salon owner, we really understand and support women and want to empower them.”
