Fellowship project x students in session at ghd

The Fellowship Project X students recently enjoyed a day at ghd, learning essential session styling skills as well as advice on building their own brand. Project mentor Ashleigh Hodges was joined by PR Harriet Edgley, ex-FAME Team member Leighanne Regan, and super stylist Zoe Irwin to cover all aspects of session work. Zoe and Ashleigh hosted a Q&A about session work, before Zoe gave the team an insight into her invaluable reference books and her extensive session kit. She also provided advice on the importance of research, client care and creative language. There was time for hands on learning too, with Zoe demonstrating a one-pin hair up and some soft, elegant salon-friendly styles. Leighanne demonstrated braids, with intricate techniques she picked up during her time on the FAME Team and at Fashion Week. Ashleigh said: "Hopefully after their first two sessions the team feel fully prepared to take advantage of their Project X year and ready to launch themselves as rising stars!"
