Angelo Seminara completed an incredible week when he added the Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year award to HJ's 2007 British Hairdresser of the Year at the Fellowship Luncheon and Awards 2007.
The lunch, at London’s Dorchester hotel, was hosted by Fellowship chancellor Andrew Clarke and president Sean Dawson.
As the wine and champagne flowed freely, members of the industry were acknowledged for their services to hairdressing in the Roll of Recognition.
Hairdressers who have made an outstanding contribution were made Fellows with Honours while former British Hairdresser of the Year Antoinette Beenders was given the accolade of Fellow with Distinction.
There were standing ovations for Tony Rizzo from Sanrizz, who received a Special Award for the work he has done for the Alternative Hair Show over the past 25 years, and Peter Goldsworthy from Goldsworthys who won the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The lunch also saw Robert Ari and Terry Calvert hand over the reigns for managing the F.A.M.E. Team - which for the first time will consist of five all-female members - to Dawn Bryant and Johnny Engstrom.
An award was also made to chancellor Andrew Clarke for the work he has done for the Fellowship over the past three years, before he passes the duties on to new chancellor Mark Creed in 2008.
