Fellowship for british hairdressing hosts evening of contrasts

The Fellowship of British Hairdressing recently hosted an Evening of Contrasts with Sean Dawson and Guy Kremer.
Hosted at the Wella World Studio in London, the event was compered by Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year and Vice President Bruno Marc Giamattei.
HOB Salon's general manager - and former president of the Fellowship - Sean Dawson - opened the evening by talking about his extensive hairdressing career before presenting seven models, each with a variation on the classic pageboy.
Bringing his presentation to life, models boasted colour by HOB's head of technical education, Faye Turner, as well as styling from HOB creative team member and current FAME Team student, Jake Unger. Confirming the salon group's dedication to fashion and young talent, models wore outfits handpicked from collections by students at London College of Fashion.
In contrast to Sean's collection renowned long hair designer, Guy Kremer, presented five models each styled in couture pieces from designer Maria Grachvogel. Pin-curling techniques, up-styling and dramatic texture were all showcased in a breathtaking up-close presentation.
Guy was also joined by fashion director of Fabulous Magazine, Tracey Lea Sayer, for a lookback at some of the editorial shoots they have collaborated on over the years. Guy's artistic director, Johnny Engstrom - who recently celebrated 16 years with the company - also presented on stage.
