The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is now accepting applications for their 2022 ClubStar Art Team. The 12-month programme offers the opportunity to be mentored by some of the industry’s top hairdressers.
The 12-month programme is perfect for up-and-coming hairdressers who want to break out of their comfort zone.
The team is for 16-25 year olds and is designed to give rising stars in hair the chance to expand their creative skills outside of the salon, giving young careers a boost. “We’ve had some great opportunities this year despite the pandemic and next year already has an exciting calendar of events. The ClubStar Art Team is a perfect platform for anyone who wants to push their creativity, step outside their comfort zone and work with other like-minded people,” explains Project Leader Karoliina Saunders.
Introduced in 2012, the ClubStar Art Team offers the experience of taking part in Fellowship stage presentations, attending mentoring days and receiving a 12-month schedule of events and training. Expanding horizons and learning from the industry’s top names, this year’s team have spent time with barber Matt Gavin from Manifesto, Jamie Benny from Hare & Bone, award-winning Rick Roberts and session stylist and trendsetter Jason Crozier.
There are six spaces up for grabs, with final auditions held in September to choose the team. Applications are open until midday 12 August 2021- head to
